Rain is a highly knowledgeable and friendly guide who was able to educate us on the history of the temples and Cambodia as a whole. Rain is enthusiastic and genuinely proud of his country and it’s history. This made our visit so much more worthwhile than wandering aimlessly through ruins. It was also fascinating to talk to them both about daily life and recent history in Cambodia as well. If you are looking for something more than generic sightseeing I can wholeheartedly recommend his services. We saw all the major highlights but got off the beaten track and saw some lesser visited but just as impressive temples. There is much more to see than Angkor Wat. The van was spacious, safe, with good air conditioning and Kann was always on hand with icy cold bottled water and refreshing cool towels after each temple visit - an absolute godsend in the heat! Off script, he accommodated our desire to visit the "hero rats" of APOPO, where we learned all about the work being done to clear the landmines from rural Cambodia. This was followed by a visit to SATCHA - the first Cambodian Handcraft Incubation Centre. We loved these visits and the opportunity to see contemporary Cambodia flourishing amidst the ancient temples. We loved our time here and Rain's guidance was a big part of the reason. I highly recommend Rain as an accomplished and attentive guide.

We had just one day in Siem Reap and wanted to make sure we cover all the main spots. We were coming in pretty late at night so didn't want to do the extremely early AM sunrise tours. (TBH, they are overcrowded and overrated) Rain arranged a pickup and drop off from the airport for us as well.
