Cambodia Trip Itinerary: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
This itinerary is for a trip in Cambodia, covering the journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. I had the chance to guide a family (2 adults and 2 kids) from Czechia. We had a wonderful trip with this itinerary. Experience the essence of Cambodia over a worth visiting from phnom penh to Siem Reap, exploring ancient monuments, vibrant markets, and picturesque countryside.
Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh

I and Martin, from Czechia, had communicated, and I was ready to pick him up on time from the Phnom Penh International Airport at 6:30 AM and transfer him downtown to the Plantation Urban Resort & Spa for an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh To Kompong Thom

After breakfast, depart Kompong Thom and head toward Siem Reap, Begin the trip with a stop at the Spider Market, a famous local market known for its unique snacks. After that, we had lunch together for one hour. Continue the journey north to Sambo Prey Kuk, one of Cambodia’s oldest temple complexes dating back to the Chenla period. Overnight at Glouria hotel
Day 3 : Kompong Thom to Siem Reap

After breakfast , We start journey to visit the Naga Bridge, an ancient laterite bridge symbolizing Khmer engineering.
En route, explore Kompong Khleang, a large floating village on Tonle Sap Lake where locals live in stilted houses. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Later, visit the Angkor Wildlife and Aquarium, a conservation and educational center showcasing Cambodia’s biodiversity. Then check in and stay overnight in Siem Reap. Château d’Angkor La Résidence
Day 4: Explore the Angkor Temples.

Spend the day discovering the majestic Angkor Wat at 9:00 AM, the iconic symbol of Cambodia. Continue to Bayon Temple, famous for its smiling stone faces, and explore the atmospheric Ta Prohm, where tree roots intertwine with ancient ruins. Return to your hotel.
Day 5 – Phnom Kulen Adventure

Travel to Phnom Kulen National Park, a sacred mountain considered the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. Visit the Big Buddha, admire the natural cliff, and enjoy a refreshing dip at the Kulen Waterfall. Take a lunch break before heading back to Siem Reap.
Day 6 – Departure to Sihanoukville

Leave Siem Reap and travel south to Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s popular coastal city. Upon arrival, my driver picks them up from the airport and transfers them to the port.
Days 7–15 – Relax in Koh Rong

Enjoy several days of rest and leisure on the beautiful island of Koh Rong. Spend your time swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on white sandy beaches surrounded by turquoise waters. The boat leaves from the port to Koh Rong from 1 pm to 5:00 pm.
Last day—Return to Phnom Penh

On final day, transfer from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh International Airport for a departure flight at 7:55 PM. My driver pick up them Penh International Airport at 6:30 AM and Most of my clients are happy with driving safe and comfortable. I also give my clients the suggestion that when they leave Koh Rong, they must inform the hotel what time so that the boat will pick them up on time, marking the end of their unforgettable Cambodian journey.
