Reviews of Private Angkor Wat Tour
Posted on Tripadvisor Michael BVerified Perfect Guide for the Perfect visit Rain was the perfect guide. The pace of the tour was perfect, and allowed for plenty of time to really get some good looks, photos and absorb the atmosphere - never rushed me along; in fact, I felt there were times I was maybe holding things up. Regardless, we finished on time or a little early each day. I got to see the things I was really there to see and experience some of the local food and culture. Rain was also very free with information regarding the history and architecture, the politics and the philosophy. I learned a lot and will be ever thankful for the experience. If I ever make it to that side of the globe again, I am hopeful to be able to engage his services again, and maybe even just visit and break bread. Thanks again Rain (and special thanks to Nepal, our driver, for all the things that made the trip comfortable - the constant cold water and cool towels.)Posted on Tripadvisor angkortrekkingtoursVerified Highly recommend Highly recommend this company. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we got so much more out of the temple visits having a guide with us. The car transport was safe and efficient. We were given cold towels and water after each temple which was much needed in the heat. They were flexible when we had to change the time of the tour the evening before. We also arranged airport transfers with them. Don’t hesitate to book with them!Posted on Tripadvisor Joseph CVerified A great Khmer new year visit Our family (3 boys age 15, 11, 8) toured 3 half days with Rain. He is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We had to cut one day back mid-day due to the heat, which he made easy to do. We also changed plans at the last minute for our third day, choosing to stay close to Siem Reap rather than going to the lake village, and again Rain was accommodating. The driver and van were on point, and made the hot days much easier, especially for the kids. To top it off, Rain is a great photographer and knows the right spots. Thank you for a great tour, Rain!Posted on Tripadvisor Scott VVerified Awesome guide and tour Rain and his driver, Here, were amazing for the entire 3 days we explored the temple ruins (including the sunrise at Angkor Wat. He managed to time the tour where it felt like we were the only ones there. Highly recommend you anyone to hire him.Posted on Tripadvisor J BVerified Great Experience with Art Art was a great guide and arranged a custom itinerary that was tailored to my specific interests. The transportation was cool and comfortable and was alway ready with umbrellas for sun, cold towels to ease the heat and flashlights for the sunrise. Art knows exactly where and how to get the best photos of the temples and is a skilled photographer! Highly recommend!Posted on Tripadvisor CarrVerified A good today tour experience We enjoyed an excellent two day tour with Rain and his colleagues. We visited many temples and they were well chosen for their variety and interest. They were brought to life well by our guides, who use just about the right length of explanation. We learnt many new facts about this area. We would thoroughly recommend this company who looked after our needs very well. One tip is to visit the National museum first, as we did, as this sets up a visit to the actual temples very well.Posted on Tripadvisor Adam WVerified Exceptional Our tour guide Art was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the finer touches to his tour make him very clear to understand. His English is excellent and is always willing to impart his knowledge of culture and a significant history. He would conduct research at night until 0230 to prepare for the next day and also better himself. I will be recommending him personally to anyone who is travelling to Cambodia and Siem Reap. Another amazing skill was his photography, he knew the right places and connected us with a photo and fun to a deep rich culture. That was truly a fantastic skill. Wishing you the best Art and see you again my friend.Posted on Tripadvisor Brian SVerified Brian &Netti Smales 2026 Our tour guide Mr Art was a humble man , which suited our needs perfectly , my wife and I have previously visited Angkor watt before however found Mr Art was full of new historical facts that we hadn't leant before on other tours also his photography was 100% amazing absolutlu stunning and picture perfect ❤️ knowing the right places to take photos and the right time of day also , Mr Pat our driver was a wonderful driver very welcoming and always offering with cold scented towels on your return from a temple or walk , water and a new and reliable van with cold air conditioningPosted on Tripadvisor Coastal22597712562Verified Exceptional 3 day tour with Art We did the 3 days private tour with Art with our friends. Cannot speak higher of Art. His knowledge of the temples and of Khmer history is phenomenal. Any question we had Art could answer. Art was so friendly, considerate and accommodating of everyone on our tour. If you are looking for someone to give you some amazing insight into Khmer history, Art's tour is the one for you! He went above and beyond taking our photos for us when we had the opportunity to dress in traditional dress. He knows all the spots to take the most amazing photos. And didn't hesitate taking photos for us all. Exceptional tour! We enjoyed every minute of the 3 days. Thank you so Art for everything over the last 3 days. We will be recommending all of our family and friends to do your tour when visiting Siem Reap.Posted on Tripadvisor CatpopeyVerified Super journée avec Rain!
